Rosanna started writing songs and performing from the age of twelve. Upon leaving high school she was offered a place at NIDA (the National Institute of Dramatic Art).
At this time she also started off on the hard road of rock n roll, forming bands and singing in pubs and clubs around Sydney.
Castle Music, a national music publisher at that time, contracted Rosanna as an in-house lyric writer.
After following this path for a number of years, Rosanna moved to the U.S. becoming a resident of Austin, Texas. Austin is one of the major music centers in the U.S. with a stunningly vibrant live music scene and is ‘home’ to many of America’s top musicians.
Rosanna picked up U.S. management and publishing and spent the next few years performing in Austin and surrounding areas. In addition to releasing her own recordings, Rosanna has also had a number of her songs covered by other U.S. artists.
Rosanna has recently returned to Sydney and while still addicted to songwriting and performing, she is now also offering singing lessons, which she finds surprisingly fulfilling, perhaps because it gives her the opportunity to pass on the benefits of her hard-earned experience to other aspiring singers, performers and songwriters.
